Velocity Inflatable Boxing Set for Kids Review

 Kids today just aren't like they were when I was young. I can remember playing with the neighborhood kids on non school nights until it got dark. When the street lights came on, all the moms came out and the name calling started. When you heard your name, you headed home pronto or you were in BIG trouble. We played Hide and Go Seek, Tag, Baseball on the grass in the park, Red Rover, SPUD, or games that we would make up. We would go home at the end of the evening hot and sweaty from running around and playing. There was no video games or smartphones back then. If you wanted to talk to someone you went outside and over to their home. None of this IMing and texting stuff for us.

 So kids these days are all into video games, netflix, computer surfing and other stuff which basically is just sitting around. Its no wonder this generation is so obese and out of shape. So when I was asked to review this boxing set I was stoked. This is something I will give to my 7 year old grandson that will get him off his butt and exercising.

  The set comes with an inflatable bag, two poles with a adjustment handle, a screw in spring, two padded boxing gloves and a hand pump. Assembly was fairly fast even with no instructions. There are some vaguely printed on the box but I didn't even need to read them. Pumping up the bag will give your arms a workout as it is a manual pump with a needle. I have small hands so the gloves actually fit me. They were snug but I did get them both on to play with the bag. It says to put 50lbs of sand or water into the base but I didn't do it because I reboxed it right after my review. I used my foot to steady the base and I threw some punches at the bag. It was pretty fun and I honestly debated keeping it for myself. I am 5'2 and the pole when extended fully,put the bag about shoulder high for me. It can be used by kids from maybe 3 years old to 12 or 13 year olds. It is good exercise and it will make you sweat.
