Its HOT and it has been hot for 4 days in a row! I'm talking 98 degree stinky sweaty sticky dirty hot. When you have no air conditioning and have to rely on fans, being hot can make you downright moody. Ok lets be real here.... this kind of hot makes me bitchy! I can't sleep, I don't want to eat, and I cannot get comfortable even after a cold shower! I do not like it when it is hot!

Today I got a sample of Comfort Tea made by Culinary Tea's to review. Last thing I want to do on a stinky hot day is brew hot tea to drink. I love tea, don't get me wrong but to me tea is a cosy up on a cold day drink. But being the diligent reviewer that I am, I ponied up to the tea kettle and boiled my water. I opened the package and the floral scent hit my nose immediately. It has a very delicate aroma and very pleasant. My mood lifted a little because it really does smell nice.

Then I stopped to look at the leaves as I measured them into my tea infuser. There are so many different colors like orange, and yellow and green and purple. It reminded me of dried flowers and I started to get excited to taste it. But grrrrr it is so hot in this house and I do not want hot tea! I poured the boiling water into my cup and added my tea infuser when it hit me! Why not get some ice and pour the hot tea over it and make iced tea? Well as you can see in the photos that is exactly what I did!

This tea is so light and delicate that it made an excellent iced tea! It has a slightly flowery taste that goes well with the aroma and it isn't the least bit bitter. I really am enjoying it. I'm sipping it right now as I write this review. Of course the ice melted within a minute or two but I still feel refreshed and more calm. This is an excellent tea that I am sure will be just as comforting when it is a cold rainy day or I am having a hard day and want to pamper myself. I received this worklight/flashlight at a reduced price for my honest review. All opinions stated in this video and blog are entirely my own.

This light is great for anyone that needs a bright working area. The LED lights really shine and light up the area. It swivels so you can angle the light to exactly where you need it most. It also has a hook at the top so you can hang it like a drop light or a lantern. It would be good for camping, hiking, or in the car for any emergency that pops up. You can stand it on the ground and pivot it so you can see those lug nuts in the dark when you need to change a tire or use the flashlight to shine under the hood to see what is wrong with your car. Or if you run out of gas, you have a light to show you the way to the gas station.

Home and the power goes out? You don't have to sit in the dark because you have this bright light to keep you safe. And it runs on just 3 AA batteries. They even give you the first three with your purchase so you can open the box and use the light from the beginning!

This hairbrush by SHOSH is one of the best I have ever used. When I first got it, I wasn't impressed because it is small. I looked at it and the first thought I had was "This is a little kids hairbrush". But what it lacks in size it makes up for in the way it works. I was thrilled at the way it went right through my hair.

I have very long hair. It reaches almost to my rear end and most days it can be a real pain to take care of. It gets in my food, when I sleep it wraps around my neck, and it tangles so easily! There are mornings when I literally cry when I brush or comb my hair because it hurts so much. Also, having long  hair means I have a lot of breakage. Any given day my bathroom floor looks like a war zone with all the hair on the floor. I have noticed that  besides unsnarling my hair pretty painlessly, the breakage has dropped.

This is a small size brush so it can fit in almost any purse or backpack you want to put it in. It has a nice mirror on the back side so you can check your look and spruce up any time you want. It is good for both adults and children. I liked it so much my roommate went out and got herself one as well. I think this is a must for anyone with problem hair because it does it's job and it does it well.

A pillow can be comforting away when you are away from home!

I received a pillow complimentary in exchange for my review. All opinions are my own. Yes, I know that sounds funny but I am one of those people that are uncomfortable sleeping anywhere but my own home. If it is a motel that doesn't have the best of ratings, that just compounds the situation. We were in Lake Tahoe California this past weekend for my niece's wedding and the motel we were staying had had some pretty bad reviews. I mean the average number of stars for this place was a 1 out of 5 so I was pretty leery.

In all fairness, the motel was fine! It is an older one so yes, it wasn't perfect, but we decided it was just a funky quirky place and I actually ended up loving it. But, because of the reviews, especially the ones talking about dirty sheets and yellow pillows, I decided to bring my own blanket and my own pillow. I chose to bring my Smarter Rest Memory Foam Pillow because it was easy to pack and it was something I had been using for a few days so I was used to it. I was so happy that I brought it with me.

Almost as soon as I put my head down on it, I was asleep. It is comfortable but it also supports my head and neck in ways my regular pillow dosen't. I love that I don't have to constantly squish and lump it to find a good spot for my head, and that it stays cool. There is nothing like a hot pillow under your face! So even though our bathroom window kept swinging open all the time and the tv was missing the remote so we were stuck with HGTV, I had my pillow and got some good sleep. I would go stay in the Sun and Sand Resort ( google it but ignore the bad reviews) in a heartbeat and I would take my Smart Rest pillow with me.

Do you love tea? I know I really do. I really wasn't much of a tea drinker before though. FACES Beautiful Brush on Liquid Mineral Make Up Works Great!

I love liquid make up because it hides the flaws in my face and it makes my skin tone even. I have tried all kinds of different ones along with mineral powders. The thing with liquid makeup is I usually use my finger to blend it into my skin and it can cause a real mess. My fingers get all stained and if I touch the sink or the wall I have an even bigger mess.

This Faces Beautiful liquid makeup is different because it has a brush attached to the tube. You put the brush in the on position and squeeze the tube. The makeup comes through the center of the brush and you use the brush to apply  the makeup to your face. There is no mess because  your fingers never touch the makeup. The brush made it easier to apply and it seemed to smooth out much faster. I love that I could get much closer to my lower lashes using the brush than I could when I used my fingers. The makeup itself is very light and non greasy. The color I used is called Healthy Nude and it seemed to blend well with my skin tone. I am very fair skinned thanks to my Irish ancestors so sometimes I have a hard time finding a foundation to look right on my skin. This one at first I thought was too dark, but when I looked at it in the bathroom mirror, it was blended perfectly with my skintone and looked great.

I love how this makeup evened out my skin tone and hid my freckles and age spots. I am going to a wedding in a week and I now have a great new product in my makeup bag. It may not turn back the clock but it will definitely make me feel younger and prettier. La Lunes All Natural Lemon Essential Oil is a great product to use

I received this Lemon Essential Oil complimentary for my honest evaluation. All opinions stated in the review are 100% my own.

I have used several of Lalune's products and all of them have been exceptional in their quality. This lemon essential is as well made as any of their other things. I love that it is 100% natural pure lemon oil and of course that it is made here in America. It has a very fresh lemony smell and when I used it in my diffuser my bedroom seemed more refreshing and rejuvenating when I walked in.

There are so many things you can do with essential oils and lemon is good for making natural cleaners for the kitchen and bathroom.I used

5 oz. distilled water                                                                                                                     
5 oz. white vinegar
1 tsp. baking soda
20 drops Lalune's Lemon Essential Oil
Combine the water and vinegar in a large mixing bowl, then add the baking soda a little at a time so it dosen't fizz up and lastly add the drops of lemon essential oil.  Then just pour the mix into a spray bottle and you are ready to clean! I use it in the kitchen on my stove, counters, and the refrigerator. In the bathroom I use it on everything, even the mirrors because it works so well and leaves everything with a clean citrus smell.

And that is only 1 thing you can do with it. You can use it in soaps, candles, lotions, mix a bit with a capful of coconut oil for a bath, its so versatile! Sunsella Silicone Popsicle Makers where you control the ingredients

If you want to make frozen treats for yourself or your kids with ingredients you control, look no further than these silicone popsicle makers from Sunsella. They are easy to use, food grade, silicone molds that make pop up treats. I am trying to watch my sugar and fat intake, so I used some yoplait frozen yogurt in them. Now at night when the rest of the family is eating their ice cream, I grab one of these frozen yogurt pops. I use low fat  yogurt and about half a container fills a mold. My  night time treat is about 45 calories instead of the 200 or more calories in a dish of ice cream.

I like these also because they are larger than some of the other molds I have seen on the market. The caps on these are not connected so you have to make sure not to lose them but all in all I really like these. During the hot summer I am going to be putting these to a lot of use. These glow sticks are so fun to use. Pull them out of the tube, crack them and they start glowing with intense colors. I saw blue, red, green, and yellow when I cracked a few. Use the connectors that come with them and you can make bracelets or necklaces or even loop them together and hang them in your yard to create lighting.
