Make MONEY and get FREE items with Your Blog

Why do we blog? For a lot of people, blogging is a way to get their feelings out. It can be therapeutic to simply let it all out using written words rather than speaking. Some people get tongue tied when they talk, so writing helps them to express themselves in a way that speaking can't. I happen to be one of those that waxes poetic when I type and can't form three sentences together when I have to talk about what I am feeling.
Others of us, myself again included, use our blogs to inform consumers about products. We receive items either free or at a reduced price to sample. We form our opinions about the merchandise and we let others know what we think. In exchange for our review we receive something we hopefully can use or give away. We do not sell these items because that would be unethical, but we can keep a present closet for when the need arises to gift something.

Product reviews can be fun. I enjoy trying new things out and spreading the good, or not so good around the internet. I feel in my own small way, I am contributing to how companies market products and my voice can inform them about what is good and what isn't so good about their brand. Some of these companies will even pay you when your blog is big enough, to promote their merchandise and you can make some decent profit from your written word. I am not where near that yet but I hope to in the future.

Lastly there is advertisement revenue. The blog can be used by companies to advertise new products, sales, or any other promotion. This can be lucrative if utilized correctly which means promote promote promote. Merchants will email you with their campaign and you pick and choose what you want to put on your blog. There is or at least with me there has been no pressure to place an ad, but the more you do, the more chances you have to make a commission. I deal with a site called Share A Sale who has many many merchants that use them. Once you join the Share A Sale site you can get into programs that will pay you to post for them, pay you to place a banner for them, pay you a commission for sales generated from your blog, and pay to recruit other blog owners to advertise for them. If you do it correctly it can be quite lucrative. I have blogger friends who make upwards of $1500 a month by doing this

.
Being an older unemployed woman, I am working toward the goal of making my blog earn me money. It will take time and a lot of effort. I was told by a couple of bloggers to expect it to take about 7 months to really take off, and I am in month 2 right now. Honestly though, I have all the time in the world so its not hard to wait. I am going to share some of the links for product reviewing and share a sale with you here. I do not receive anything from the product review sites for recruiting you, but I will be honest and tell you that the Share A Sale ones will pay me something. I hope you will click on some of the links not only to generate a lead payment for me, but to gain some income for yourself.

Tomoson:  is a huge product reviewer site. Most items are FREE to review but some do charge a small fee usually $1 or less. I will warn you not to be discouraged because there are a lot of product review bloggers and you will not get every item you apply for. In fact I get maybe 1 out of every 10 that I try for. You are more apt in the beginning to get things like supplements and beauty items than you are to get the blue tooth speakers or chef knives but they WILL come in time
.
Give Away : This is another product review site. This one mainly has discounted items for review and most are not free. I usually pick items that are $1 but they have items that are discounted but still somewhat costly. They have some of the bigger ticket items to review but it will cost you some money.                                                                                                                                                                   Amazon Review Trader: This is my second favorite after Tomoson. Again, most of these cost you a bit of money usually $1 but all they ask for is an Amazon Review. I have gotten essential oils from there and a few other cheapie items.

Now for Share A Sale   This is the middle man between the merchants looking for advertisers and the blogger affiliates that serve them. All payments are made directly from the Sale A Share site and you get paid by either check or direct deposit into your bank. All payments are sent out on the 20th of each month and you must earn a minimum of $50 to qualify for payment. I know that sounds daunting but in reality it isn't. The paid posts are a minimum of $5 and some can be as high as $50. Banner placements on your blog usually pay $10 and of course the commissions range from 7% of the sale to 35% depending. I would concentrate on the paid posts and banner placements more than the commissions unless you are a really good seller. Once you get into affiliate programs you can also do recruiting. Some pay .50 a recruitment, some pay 1 or 2 dollars and some have programs during the year that pay $15 a recruit so again it can be lucrative. I would recommend these programs to start with on Share A Sale because they have paid me money in the past.

These are a few of the money makers for me, and if you click and join, they can be money makers for you too. So if you want to get started reviewing products or needed new leads, I hope these help you. All of us bloggers have to help each other to be as productive and successful as possible.

Live Infinitely Water Infusion Bottle

**** I received this bottle complimentary for my unbiased review. All opinions here are 100% my own****

Today I got to review a really fun and healthy item. Its called a water infusion bottle by Live Infinitely. Its a 24 ounce water bottle with a fruit infuser on the end to make your water taste better. I mean everyone knows that water is good for you. We are told to drink at least 8 glass of water a day for good health, but let's face facts. Even though it is the best drink for you, plain water is boring. This bottle gives you the option of infusing the taste of fresh fruit into your water. No more boring water drinking. The choices of flavors are infinite really. I used tangerines in my review but I can see myself infusing strawberries, cherries, plums, peaches, lemons, pineapple, watermelon or blue berries in there as well. Im sure almost any fruit would work well with the water except maybe bananas. I mean you can try it but honestly is banana water appealing? Not to me it isn't.
When you order the Water Infusion Bottle,  you get the waterbottle, the infuser and a nice nylon bag to travel with it. You can use it as a tote bag or as a backpack to keep your hands free. All you do to infuse your water is choose your fruit or fruits, cut them into small pieces and place them into the infuser. Place the cap onto the infuser and then screw the blue lid onto the bottom of the water bottle. Then unscrew the top of the bottle and fill with your water. Reseal with the other blue lid and wait a while. Its good to tip the bottle up and down so that the fruit mixes with the bottled water. You can actually see pulp and fiber from the fruit mixing with the water in the bottle along with the fruit juice. The longer you wait to drink your water, the more it infuses with the fruit and the more flavor it develops.

When you are ready, just open the top of the bottle and enjoy your fruity healthy delicious water.
I'm thinking since both my daughters have given up soda, this would be a great gift for their birthdays this year. They will both love these bottles as much as I do.

Nutraplex Megaberry Bar

**** I received this product complimentary for my unbiased review. All opinions are strictly my own****

I got this Nutraplex Megaberry Bar in my mail yesterday from the seller. Unfortunately I didn't take a photo of it before I ate it. Note to self...don't open the mail when you haven't had lunch and are hungry.
This is the empty package as the bar is by now surely digested and moving around in my body

I will say the bar tasted wonderful. It was very fruity and sweet and I ate it in  4 bites. It also kept me satisfied until dinner which was about 4 hours after I consumed the Megaberry Bar. I was pleasantly surprised by that fact because the bar itself is not very big. It may only be 1.83 ounces but they are good ounces that keep you full with only 190 calories in them. Nutraplex Megaberry Bar is Kosher, Vegetarian, Gluten Free and Non GMO so its a healthy bar you can feel good eating.

It contains  Dates, Chia Seeds, Cranberry, Cashews, PeaProtein, Honey Raisins, Safflower Oil, Blueberries, Strawberries, Strawberry Juice Concentrate, Raspberries, Acai Powder, Sunflower, Lecithin, Natural Flavors, Sea Salt, Mixed Tocopherols and Citric Acid. Because it contains cashews you should probably avoid it if you have allergies to nuts. It has 2300 mgs of Omega 3 Fatty Acids which are very good for you. Its low in fat and sodium and has 0 cholesterol. The one drawback I found is that it contains a lot of sugar.
There are 22 grams of sugar in this bar and that I have to admit puts me off of it as a bar I would consume all the time. If you are diabetic or are watching your sugar intake you may want to reconsider this bar.

I like the bar, its healthy but I don't like the amount of sugar. If it wasn't for that, I would fully endorse it and probably would buy more of them myself. I really like the food types in it and the omega 3 values and hope they can find a way to lower that sugar.

Easy Way to Make Cash and Gift Cards on the Net

Everyone needs a little extra cash right?

You know, for holiday shopping, birthdays, or just for YOU!
I found myself unemployed last year. I had owned a fairly sucessful business in the offset printing industry. People always need business cards, letterhead and envelopes so I thought I would always have the shop until I retired. I wouldn't ever have a need for cash.

WRONG!!!
Thanks to technology and the PDF, most companies have gone paperless now and because 85% of my business was paper generated, I found myself closing shop and joining the unemployed workforce. I was ok because my hubby without the paper as I call him, collects SSI and we have another person in the house that collects state disability so we have the bills paid but there is no extra $$ for things like my crafting supplies or basically anything not necessary.

I started looking on the internet because our roommate was doing internet surveys and getting paid. She wasn't making a vast amount of money but enough that she could get little things that she felt she wanted. I found this site called Points2Shop and I started doing their surveys. Before too long I had enough points to order my first item. It wasn't much, some dollar store candy but it had me established as a genuine person and it leveled me up.
Each level unlocks new earning potential.

You begin at New and right away earn 250 points for signing up. Each point is equal to a penny so you get $2.50 when you begin. Surveys depend but some pay 25 points and others can pay up to 300 points so you can make some money doing them. They have a rewards center where you cash your points in for items. They work with Amazon so anything Amazon carries, you can redeem points for. They ask you to redeem one item as quickly as possible to verify your address and move you up to the Bronze level. This opens more survey opportunities and offers from different vendors. The more points you earn and the more time you spend on the site the more you move up in levels.

You can also change your earnings from points to cash and redeem them that way. This is my preferred method of payment because I can either transfer money to Paypal, direct deposit into my bank or redeem for Amazon or Target credit on my account. Once you hit the GOLD level you can also get instant withdrawals. Before that they have to manually process your requests and it can take up to a week to get your money so you really want to get up to that gold level. Now when I want to withdrawal, its usually in my paypal or amazon account within 5 minutes and in my bank the next business day.

There is a little banner on the right side of this blog and it has my username on it, it tells you right there how much I have earned over the last 1 and a half years. Now to be honest, I don't sit on the site and do surveys all day so my earnings aren't as high as some people I know on that site but for a half an hour a day its pretty impressive. I have put money in the bank, I have Christmas shopped without spending a dime, and I earned enough to buy a cheap tablet that I use to facebook and watch Netflix on. It does work, its not a scam but if you want it to work you need to put some time into it.

Be HONEST when you fill out the demographics. I cannot stress this enough. If you are not honest, it will come back to haunt you and you will lose your account. Give your real address as they do not take post office boxes and they need to verify in order for you to move up. There is no spam involved, no one comes to your house and rings your doorbell. Its for sending your rewards only. When you take the surveys again be honest. They can tell when you are lying or trying to invent things and again, you can lose your account.

This is a great site. As you can see I have made over 400.00 on it. Not tons but enough to get a little something something for me from time to time. If you are curious, click on the banner on the side of the post, or I'll post the link down here and  you can go check it out. Give it a try. You really have nothing to lose and all the cash to gain.

Life and Food Garcinia Cambogia Supreme Supplements

***** I received these at a reduced price for my unbiased review. All opinions here are 100% my own.

I started a weight loss journey in January when I went for my routine doctor visit. I am extremely overweight and have hypertension. Being that I am now in my early 50's I felt that if I didn't make some big changes in my lifestyle aka my eating I wasn't going to be around as long as I would like to.

So I started on a better eating plan and found a way to track my exercise and my calorie intake and began my journey. Its been good but I felt like I wasn't losing it quickly enough. Being older and menopausal my metabolism has slowed down. It will take me twice as long to lose a pound as it will a women in her 20's or 30's. That is just how nature works. So I decided to take a supplement to try and boost my metabolism some and maybe see better results.

Thats when I was approached by Life and Food to review their supplements. I have been taking these pills for about a week now and I have lost 2 pounds. I am not hungry between meals so I am less likely to snack on something without really thinking about it. They are allowing me the latitude to make better eating and snacking choices because I am not having any cravings.

The goal my doctor and I established at the end of January when I saw her, was to lose a pound a week. I revisit her in June at the six month point and if I stay at a pound a week I should lose 25lbs. So far since I started in January I have lost 11 lbs so I believe I will hit my target and maybe go beyond it. I plan to continue to take these supplements to help me obtain my goal. If you are curious about supplements and want to try some I think these are the ones you should get. They have no artifical ingredients and no soy, dairy, seafood, wheat,or peanuts and they seem to be very gentle on the system. No jitters or anything like that. You can purchase them on Amazon.com

100% Non-Protein Spiking Pure Whey Protein

Today I am doing a review on 100% Non-Protein Spiking Pure Whey Protein Isolate. What a mouthful that is lol. It really needs to have a simpler name but that is what they call it.

I received this product complimentary in exchange for my honest review. All opinions expressed here are 100% my own

I am not a bodybuilder or an athlete, I am simply an older woman on a weight loss journey. Over the years I have been told that a diet high in lean protein and low in fat and carbs is better for you. When I was asked to try and review this Whey Protein Isolate, I jumped at the chance. I wanted to see for myself if a powder that is high in protein and low in carbs, sugar, cholesterol and calories would keep me satisfied as a meal.

I have to say that it does indeed keep me satisfied. I had it mixed with 8oz of 2% milk instead of eating lunch and it actually kept me full for a good 5 hours. Usually when I eat lunch, I have more calories and in 2 or 3 hours I'm hungry. I have to snack on a piece of fruit or a yogurt to get me through til dinner. I was really surprised that I didn't have to after drinking this.

I had the vanilla one which tastes pretty good. Now I'm curious as to how the dutch chocolate one tastes as well and may have to plunk down some cash and try it out. I noticed my energy level increased about an hour after drinking it as well. I sometimes get tired during the day and find myself dozing in front of the computer but I haven't the two days that I drank this. It could be coincidence but I don't think so.

I like that it has 25 grams of protien, only 110 calories, no sugar, no fat and very little cholesterol. It has 130 mg of calcium and only 51mgs of sodium so its pretty good for you. I can't attest to the muscle building attributes other than I know if you don't eat enough protien when you are dieting, you can lose muscle mass instead of fat. Ingesting something with a high level of protein should help to keep that from happening.

Beautease Argan Oil Review is now live. Great stuff I love it.

I received this product at a reduced price for my unbiased review. All opinions are 100% my own.

I love this stuff! Thats pretty much straight to the point isn't it? I have extremely long hair, I'm talking down my back with some of it touching the top of my rear end. I haven't had hair this long since I was a little girl. I also have damaged hair, because well, I dye it alot. I know in these photo's I have gray but that is because I am between dyes right now. I usually color my  hair about every 2 months and yes that gray does crop up quickly.

So, I was asked to try this Argan oil hair care to see how I like it. When I was going to the salon to get my hair colored and cut, they always put some argan oil in my hair as they were blow drying it. I even bought a bottle so that I could have it here in the house in between salon visits. Well two things have happened, the first is that line of hair care products was no longer carried by my salon and then my income level changed and I was no longer able to afford $150 every other month to spend on color, highlights and a cut.

In the last 2 years I have not cut my hair, I have colored using dye that I get at Walgreens and I have not had any argan oil. I have noticed the dye really damages your hair. I use conditioner and sometimes even a deep conditioner and the ends still feel really dry and my ends keep splitting. I put this argan oil on and I immediately notice a softness and a sheen to my hair that it was lacking before. The oil seems to absorb into my hair so it doesn't look greasy, just soft and shiney.

I was impressed with the amount of product you get for your money. Its a fairly large bottle compared to other argan oil bottles I have received. It has a nice little flip spout too that will make it easy not to pour out too much. You do have to be careful as it is oil and on the thin side so it does pour out quickly. I like to tip the bottle and get a little in the palm of my hand and then keep going until I have the amount I want to use.

Its very easy to use. I used an amount, about maybe the size of a quarter and then smoothed it over my hair. Because my hair is drier on the ends than the top, I put more of it down at the ends. Once I had it worked into my hair I combed it and styled it as usual. It only adds a minute or two to your hair routine and its mild enough that you can use it every day. I am very happy with this product and I urge you to try it if you have difficult hair. You can also use it as a moisturizer on your skin. I tried that as well and my arms and hands are very smooth with no dry spots. This is definitely a good product to have on hand.

The Desheddinator 2 in 1 groomer is amazing!

I received this item complimentary in exchange for my honest review. All opinions expressed here are my own.

I cannot stress enough how much I love this grooming tool!

I have owned animals all my life and have used all types of combs, brushes and shedding blades. This one is truly the best I have used. It has a very comfortable handle, and easily flips from a shedding blade to a comb with a flick of a switch. I tried it on my cat first and although SHE didn't care much for it, I loved the way it went through her fur. It even took two mats out that were at the base of her tail quickly and as far as I can tell painlessly.
That is Cali's hair that was removed after only a few quick strokes with the Desheddinator.

Next I went outside and used it on the neighbors two dogs. Unfortunately, I no longer have a dog as I lost my Bear 2 years ago, but these two hang out around our house so much I now call them my dogs that are not my dogs. Both dogs are completely outside dogs and are brother and sister. They are McNab's which are sort of like Border Collies. Ricky has short fur while Lucy has thick long fur with an undercoat. Ricky didn't care for it much although he was a good boy and sat still for me to use it. It's more a he dosen't like to be groomed thing than anything to do with the comb. It went through his fur easily and it did remove some of the dead hair from his coat. Now Lucy LOVED it. She actually started licking my hand and pushing herself up against me to be groomed before I even started the video. She had a ton of hair removed her coat.

I think this is a marvelous comb / deshedder for any type of animal. I would recommend it if you have shedding cats, dogs, horses, rabbits, guinea pigs, or whatever you need to regularly brush and keep clean. It removes hair quickly and is very comfortable to use.

AmaziPro8 Fashion Jewelry Set Pink color

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00SSPUS92/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_5                                        I received this set at a discounted price for my honest opinion. The opinions expressed here are my own.

I was very impressed with the quality of this jewelry. This is not your standard "junk" jewelry. The clasp on the necklace is a sturdy lobster claw type and the backings on the earrings are a comfortable yet strong rubber back. The bracelet is of a thick metal with yet another strong clasp so you don't have to worry about it popping open and falling off your wrist. The stones are a very bright and pretty pink and appear to be set well into each piece of jewelry.
The first thing I noticed about the bracelet is that it looked very small in the package. It does open a bit wider than it appears but I am a larger lady and the bracelet was too small. I could get it on and clasp it shut firmly but it squeezed my wrist and I had to take it off right away. It was just too uncomfortable for me. If you have smaller wrists or if this is a gift for a little girl however, it should be just fine.
The earrings and necklace fit me fine and I like them very much. The earrings have long posts that fit easily into my ears. I haven't worn earrings in about a year and my holes were closed but I had no problem pushing the posts through. The earring back fits the earring snugly but were very comfortable. After I had them on I pretty much forgot they were in my ears. That is how comfortable they are. The necklace too was easy to put on although when I went to take it off I had to ask my husband for help. I had a hard time opening the clasp from behind my neck because it is small and I was afraid I would break the chain. My  husband who is not used to unhooking jewelry got it undone in just a few seconds so I would say it is easy to take off.

I like this set and think it is pretty. Its not really something I would purchase for myself as its not really my style however it is something I would buy as a gift and feel good about it. Im sure anyone who received it would enjoy it for a long time. It also comes with a free diamond headphone anti dust plug for a cellphone, but since I don't have a smartphone, this little exta was pretty useless for me but maybe I could find some kind of use for it.

Even Glow Vitamin C Serum by Valentia Skin Care Review

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HJD8NLY/ref=sr_ph?ie=UTF8&qid=1425260624&sr=1&keywords=vitamin+c+serum

I received this product from Valentia Skin Care Review for free in exchange for my honest opinion of their serum. The first thing that I noticed was how beautiful the box it comes in is. I know that its only a box but presentation is everything and this box makes the serum look very high end and trendy.

When I opened the box and removed the bottle I noticed it was wrapped in shrink wrap. I did have trouble getting the shrink wrap off and had to go grab a knife to cut a strip so I could remove it from the bottle. I used the eyedropper applicator and squirted some into my hand. I used an amount about equivalent to the size of a dime. I did not smell any type of scent at first but when I brought my palm up to my nose I could smell the slight aroma of oranges. It is very pleasant and not strong at all. The color of the serum itself is a pale orange so its almost like putting orange juice on your face.

I had prepped my face according to the directions before applying the serum. Basically you just have to have a freshly washed face that has been patted dry before you put the serum on. I dotted it across my forehead, around the outer eyes careful to keep it away from the eye itself, on my nose, chin, and cheeks. The remainder I put onto my neck. I went back and rubbed it into my skin and noticed that it absorbs quickly and it doesn't feel greasy. Then I just waited to see what would  happen.

Right away I noticed that the skin on my face felt much smoother. Actually I was surprised that it worked so quickly. My skin felt better and it really did have a healthy glow. After using it for a week, I have noticed that the crows feet around my eyes do not look as deep as they used to and the little neck waddle I hated doesn't seem to be as prominent as it was before I started.

I am very happy with this serum. I believe it does what it claims to do and it makes me feel better about my skin. I'm 53  years old and beginning to show my age with wrinkles. Like most women I am battling the aging process with as many weapons as I can. This is going to be a necessity in my daily facial routine.
