This machine is really a great product. It keeps your sink area less messy and the design goes with most decor. It is really simple to put the batteries in at the bottom. Just use a small screwdriver to unlock the battery compartment and add 4 AAA batteries ( not included). Put the cover back on and screw it back together. Then remove the top of the dispenser by pressing the two silver buttons on the sides and lifting. Pour in your soap and you are ready to go. I like that you can use any type of soap in the machine that is non foaming. I happened to use body wash because I was out of liquid hand soap. You place your palm under the dispenser and it automatically gives you the correct amount of soap. I can see myself getting one for the other bathroom and another for the kitchen as well. If you want, you can also substitute hand sanitizer for soap and it works just as well.
