A pillow can be comforting away when you are away from home!

I received a pillow complimentary in exchange for my review. All opinions are my own. Yes, I know that sounds funny but I am one of those people that are uncomfortable sleeping anywhere but my own home. If it is a motel that doesn't have the best of ratings, that just compounds the situation. We were in Lake Tahoe California this past weekend for my niece's wedding and the motel we were staying had had some pretty bad reviews. I mean the average number of stars for this place was a 1 out of 5 so I was pretty leery.

In all fairness, the motel was fine! It is an older one so yes, it wasn't perfect, but we decided it was just a funky quirky place and I actually ended up loving it. But, because of the reviews, especially the ones talking about dirty sheets and yellow pillows, I decided to bring my own blanket and my own pillow. I chose to bring my Smarter Rest Memory Foam Pillow because it was easy to pack and it was something I had been using for a few days so I was used to it. I was so happy that I brought it with me.

Almost as soon as I put my head down on it, I was asleep. It is comfortable but it also supports my head and neck in ways my regular pillow dosen't. I love that I don't have to constantly squish and lump it to find a good spot for my head, and that it stays cool. There is nothing like a hot pillow under your face! So even though our bathroom window kept swinging open all the time and the tv was missing the remote so we were stuck with HGTV, I had my pillow and got some good sleep. I would go stay in the Sun and Sand Resort ( google it but ignore the bad reviews) in a heartbeat and I would take my Smart Rest pillow with me.
