Mother's Day Musings
Happy Mother's Day to all the Mom's and Single Dads, and Pet Parents out there.
This for once, isn't a review or maybe it is, after all a review of being a mom. We women that have kids all fall under the heading of Mom and we all do it differently but the end result is we would and will do anything for our kids. They make us so angry, they break our hearts, they fill us with joy, and we will go to the ends of the earth to defend them.
We start our bonds when we are carrying our children. I know the happiest moment's of my life were hearing that first heartbeat in the doctor's office. That always made it real.I was carrying a living being. Then soon enough the little butterfly feelings in our stomach where we would wonder if we were feeling our baby move. Soon after the definite kicks and legs and arms that caused our abdomen's to undulate. I know I used to talk to each one as I carried them. Told them how much I loved them and how I couldn't wait for them to be here.
The labor...yes the most intense pain in the world but once it is done, its forgotten. That final push and then the slippery mass that arrives with a scream to let you know he or she is here now. When that baby is put on your stomach and you begin to wonder if you are going to be a good parent. If your baby will love and cherish you as much as you already do them. And that undescribleable feeling of when you hold and rock your child. It dosen't have a name, and I can remember calling it "the mommy feeling". A peaceful loving feeling of immense love and affection for that baby.
As they grow we become their world. They learn to walk and subsequently fall and we make all the boo boo's go away magically with a kiss. We celebrate all the first milestones with glee. But also as they begin to explore and become more independent, we mourn the fact that they are growing older. Seems like the years between kindergarten and being a senior in high school just fly by. It wasn't easy raising them but we did the best we could with what we knew from our own mothers. They go off into the world to college or work and then in time get married and have children of their own. But we never stop being their mom and no matter how old they are, they are always our babies. That never ends until the day we die.
As adult as they are, we still ache when they have problems and rush in to try to help. Or the worst is when you know they have to do something a certain way, but you have to remain quiet so they learn. There are things our children have to experience on their own, and as much as we want to take the pain of life away from them, we cannot. All we can do as good parents is be there and let them know they are not alone and not unloved. The epiphany hits like a strike of lightning! We did it, we raised our kids and guess what? We didn't do half bad of a job! Hurrah!!!
So celebrate this day and revel in the fact that you are a parent. Hug those kids if you can and if not, give them a call and just let them know you love them. That is what being a mom is all about.

Naturalico Rechargeable Pedicure Callus Remover Review
Spring and Summer mean warmer weather. Trips to the beach or park or swimming will most likely be a reality. Lots of days to wear shorts, skirts and sundresses paired with sandals or flip flops. You want your feet looking their best don't you? No ugly scaly feet or callus' to make those pretty shoes look gross.
This Naturalico Rechargeable Callus Remover will help fix your feet so they look their best. It is rechargeable so you plug it in, let it charge then take it where you want to work on your feet. Because it is rechargeable you are not filling our landfills with dead batteries either which is always a good thing. It is a pretty white base with a pink roller head and metallic pink accents so it looks very feminine.
I tried it on my feet and it worked great. It smoothed out the callus' that I had on my heels, the edges of my big toes and my corns on my insteps. The corns are very painful for me to walk on and I've tried everything from corn pads to emery boards to pumice stones to get rid of them. Now this callus remover didn't get rid of them completely but it ground them down enough that I can walk without the bottoms of my feet hurting.
If you want to get your feet ready for those pretty summer sandals, this product is the way to go. You can buy it on Amazon at http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00WH7TFWI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and you can see my video review of it on Youtube on my YouTube channel Callus Remover Video Reviewer.

Curve Headphones from Sentey Review
I received these headphones complimentary for my unbiased review. All opinions stated here are my own
I love music and movies. I love them loud with lots of stereophonic sound too. Consequently I love headphones that give me the sound quality that I am looking for. These Curve headphones do not disappoint.
First off they are extremely lightweight so they are comfortable to wear. The leatherette ear pads fit very nicely over my ears and they block out exterior noise when I am listening to my music.
The sound quality is amazingly good. When I was watching a movie on them, it was almost like being in the theater itself. They are listed on Amazon as a child's headphones but I am a full grown adult and they fit me just fine. I played around with stretching them out and they seem to be flexible enough to fit just about everyone's head. There is a button on the cord that allows you to stop and start the play incase you are interrupted or if you use them with a smart phone ( which I do not own) you can stop the sound, answer the phone and then resume the sound all with a click or two of the button.
I really like these headphones and I think anyone that relishes quality sound and comfort will like them too.
You can see my full video review on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y1Y-wVG0kNI .
You can buy these headphones on Amazon at this link http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00RPHPQUU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 . While you are there search out all the quality Sentey products that they have for sale.

X-Shade Jumbo Car Sunshade Review
You can view my video review and demonstration on my YouTube Channel. The link is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LABv45eWRMo . I think this sunshade is going to come in handy during the hot summer months. My interior and dash are black and when it gets hot, it gets HOT! Many a time I have yelled because I hopped into my car in my shorts only to have my bare legs burn on the leather seat. Or I have to grip and release and grip and release the steering wheel because it is just too hot to touch. The worst is waiting for the air conditioner to start blowing cold air and stop blowing the hot air that is in the car.
This sunshade is a simple design. It has silver reflective material that repels the heat away from the interior of your car leaving it cool and comfortable. It comes in it's own pouch for easy carrying too. Just take it out of the pouch, unfold it, put it across your dash and secure with your car visors. Once that is done you are ready to go about your business knowing that you are coming back to a cool and comfortable ride.
I tried it on my car and it really was that easy. The only thing was as you will see in the video, I had a bit of a hard time refolding it and putting it back in the pouch. I think that was more me not knowing how to fold it up than it was really the product. After doing it a few times I should be a pro. If you are curious about the sunshade and want to read reviews, you may look it up on Amazon.com. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00E5OUOCQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
