CushionCare Memory Foam Seat Cushion Review

***I received this cushion complimentary for my unbiased review. All opinions stated here are 100% my own

I have to admit right off the bat that I applied to review this cushion on behalf of my roomate. My roommate is 56 years old and has no cartiliage in either hip. Because of this, she cannot walk more than a few steps and is in constant pain. She gets around using her GoGo mobility scooter. About 4 months ago she began experiencing discomfort in her tailbone area. After many pleas to the doctor she was able last month to get an xray of her coccyx. It turns out that at some point in her past, she fell and broke her coccyx bone and all the sitting she has to do now has aggravated it.

The foam seat on her GoGo is not memory foam and it is over 6 years old. It has worn out and broken and in spots she is sitting on metal which is not comfortable. When I was accepted to review the CushionCare Memory Foam Seat Cushion I was really excited. I had hoped I was getting something to review that would give her some relief and the cushion certainly lived up to my expectations. It arrived in a box in two pieces. One piece is the actual cushion and the second is a pretty blue cover that goes over it. I immediately unzipped the cover and inserted the cushion. I will admit I did struggle a bit trying to get the cushion in. The zipper area on the cover could be a bit longer because you really have to stuff it in and I did tear the stitches on the far end. It wasn't a huge deal breaker in the long run but it was a slight problem.

After we got it in the cover we put it on her scooter's seat and she sat on it. She gave it about an hour and then came to tell me that it was a big relief. She said the pain she has been experiencing all day long was gone. There was no pinching or soreness whatsoever. She also said she felt that her hips were in a better alignment with her spine and she could sit up better in her chair. This morning she came up to me and hugged with almost with tears in her eyes. She is so happy with her new memory foam cushion. She actually said it has improved her quality of life.  This is what I wanted to hear!

This is a wonderful cushion, its soft and very comfortable and being memory foam it doesn't lose its shape. I think anyone with back trouble or wanting to avoid future back trouble should get this cushion. It would be great for long car rides or if you have a job where you have to sit at a desk for a good part of the day. Invivo Essential 4 Ounce Fractionated Coconut Oil Review.

I received this bottle of Invivo Essential Fractionated Coconut Oil complimentary for my unbiased review
All opinions stated here are 100% my own.

I wasn't really sure what fractionated coconut oil was to be honest. I had seen many things on pinterest for making lotions, foaming handsoap, bath oils, soaps etc all using fractionated coconut oil and I wanted to try some of them. I Googled fractionated coconut oil to see exactly what it was. Unlike other Coconut Oils, Fractionated Coconut Oil remains liquid at room temperature, making it useful in softer formulations such as salt scrubs, lotions, or massage oils. Which is probably why it is so popular on Pinterest with do it yourselfers.
The Invivo Essential Fractionated Coconut Oil comes in a 4oz plastic bottle as you can see above. It has a very slight scent which is very pleasant. It smells like coconut but it is so slight that I had to practically stick my nose into the bottle. This is nice because if you use it with essential oils it won't take away from the fragrance you are trying to create. In fact, I believe it will enhance anything you use it with. I poured some into my hand and was surprised at how light it is. It is not a heavy greasy oil in any way and I put the bit I had in my palm across my skin. I could feel it soak in almost immediately and moisturize my arm. I can see why people like using it for soaps and lotions.

I am waiting for my essential oils and liquid castille soap to come in the mail so I can start making my foaming hand soaps and bubble baths. I am sure this coconut oil is going to be getting a lot of use in the future in my house.
Lavender Sugar Scrub Recipe
1/2 cup white granulated sugar
1/2 cup Raw Sugar
up to 1/4 Olive Oil or Coconut Oil melted (or almond oil) as needed
1 tablespoon dried Lavender (optional but recommended)
3-4 drops DoTerra Lavender Essential Oil
Directions:  Mix together the sugars and slowly add the coconut or almond oil while stirring.  Pour in as much oil as you need to get your desired consistency.  I do not like my sugar scrubs too oily so I always use less than 1/4 cup.  Stir and mix thoroughly.  Stir in the essential oil and the Lavender.  Store in an airtight container.  Lasts up to 3 months if you keep bacteria and germs out of the scrub.

La Lune's Indian Healing Clay Review

11a53536fa6ca0ca383e145676e936459401e148f4c7c170e4 I received my container of La Lune Indian Healing Clay complimentary for my unbiased review. All opinions stated here are 100% my own

I have used many face masks before. Usually I go to the drug store or the grocery store and pick up one of the big name companies products and take it home and use it. Its in a tube or a jar and its all premixed so I just use it. This one is different! And in a very good way I might add. When I first opened the container and saw it was a powder I was a bit taken aback because I wasn't used to mixing my own beauty product. Drinks sure, I can mix a drink or a cake but this was different. But as I read the instructions on the jar it was so simple even I could do it. Notice I didn't say master it lol but I could get by and make it work.

It is easy to mix. Just one part powder and three parts water and it comes with a handy scoop so it was a piece of cake. I got out a plastic bowl because the instructions state not to use a metal bowl or anything metal to mix the clay with. I measured one scoop of powder and three scoops of water into my little red bowl and started mixing with a plastic fork I happened to have.

Once mixed up I took it into the bathroom and began to spread it onto my face. I think I made it a little watery so I have to work on my blending and measuring skills a little bit but I did get it to work. I spread a layer onto my face and in a few minutes I began to feel it tighten as it started the drying process. It says on the label that it draws out the oil and toxins in your face and I could certainly feel something happening on my face. It wasn't painful, just a bit of a tightening feeling.

This photo dosen't really show the green mask very well but you can see it in spots. I kept the Indian Healing Clay on my face for the recommended time. It says 20 to 30 minutes but I think I was closer to the 20 minute time frame. I should have actually kept track of the time and I didn't. It felt completely dry on my face so I thought that was a good indication that it was time to wash it off. It washed off very easily with warm water and a washcloth. My skin feels so soft and fresh! I keep rubbing my cheeks because I can't believe how soft they feel. I don't feel any bumps on my nose from blackheads and usually my nose and chin feel oily and my cheeks feel dry. Right now everything feels the same. I am extremely pleased with the way this clay worked.

La lune Indian Healing Clay is 100% pure Sodium Bentonite and is organic. It comes in a nice 1lb plastic container with the handy scoop and it is made in the USA. I think La lune is an exceptional company, I have used other products of theirs and I have always been happy. They really try to provide quality products that are organic. You can see my video review of this product on my YouTube page at La Lune Indian Healing Clay Video

Make MONEY and get FREE items with Your Blog

Why do we blog? For a lot of people, blogging is a way to get their feelings out. It can be therapeutic to simply let it all out using written words rather than speaking. Some people get tongue tied when they talk, so writing helps them to express themselves in a way that speaking can't. I happen to be one of those that waxes poetic when I type and can't form three sentences together when I have to talk about what I am feeling.
Others of us, myself again included, use our blogs to inform consumers about products. We receive items either free or at a reduced price to sample. We form our opinions about the merchandise and we let others know what we think. In exchange for our review we receive something we hopefully can use or give away. We do not sell these items because that would be unethical, but we can keep a present closet for when the need arises to gift something.

Product reviews can be fun. I enjoy trying new things out and spreading the good, or not so good around the internet. I feel in my own small way, I am contributing to how companies market products and my voice can inform them about what is good and what isn't so good about their brand. Some of these companies will even pay you when your blog is big enough, to promote their merchandise and you can make some decent profit from your written word. I am not where near that yet but I hope to in the future.

Lastly there is advertisement revenue. The blog can be used by companies to advertise new products, sales, or any other promotion. This can be lucrative if utilized correctly which means promote promote promote. Merchants will email you with their campaign and you pick and choose what you want to put on your blog. There is or at least with me there has been no pressure to place an ad, but the more you do, the more chances you have to make a commission. I deal with a site called Share A Sale who has many many merchants that use them. Once you join the Share A Sale site you can get into programs that will pay you to post for them, pay you to place a banner for them, pay you a commission for sales generated from your blog, and pay to recruit other blog owners to advertise for them. If you do it correctly it can be quite lucrative. I have blogger friends who make upwards of $1500 a month by doing this

.
Being an older unemployed woman, I am working toward the goal of making my blog earn me money. It will take time and a lot of effort. I was told by a couple of bloggers to expect it to take about 7 months to really take off, and I am in month 2 right now. Honestly though, I have all the time in the world so its not hard to wait. I am going to share some of the links for product reviewing and share a sale with you here. I do not receive anything from the product review sites for recruiting you, but I will be honest and tell you that the Share A Sale ones will pay me something. I hope you will click on some of the links not only to generate a lead payment for me, but to gain some income for yourself.

Tomoson:  is a huge product reviewer site. Most items are FREE to review but some do charge a small fee usually $1 or less. I will warn you not to be discouraged because there are a lot of product review bloggers and you will not get every item you apply for. In fact I get maybe 1 out of every 10 that I try for. You are more apt in the beginning to get things like supplements and beauty items than you are to get the blue tooth speakers or chef knives but they WILL come in time
.
Give Away : This is another product review site. This one mainly has discounted items for review and most are not free. I usually pick items that are $1 but they have items that are discounted but still somewhat costly. They have some of the bigger ticket items to review but it will cost you some money.                                                                                                                                                                   Amazon Review Trader: This is my second favorite after Tomoson. Again, most of these cost you a bit of money usually $1 but all they ask for is an Amazon Review. I have gotten essential oils from there and a few other cheapie items.

Now for Share A Sale   This is the middle man between the merchants looking for advertisers and the blogger affiliates that serve them. All payments are made directly from the Sale A Share site and you get paid by either check or direct deposit into your bank. All payments are sent out on the 20th of each month and you must earn a minimum of $50 to qualify for payment. I know that sounds daunting but in reality it isn't. The paid posts are a minimum of $5 and some can be as high as $50. Banner placements on your blog usually pay $10 and of course the commissions range from 7% of the sale to 35% depending. I would concentrate on the paid posts and banner placements more than the commissions unless you are a really good seller. Once you get into affiliate programs you can also do recruiting. Some pay .50 a recruitment, some pay 1 or 2 dollars and some have programs during the year that pay $15 a recruit so again it can be lucrative. I would recommend these programs to start with on Share A Sale because they have paid me money in the past.

These are a few of the money makers for me, and if you click and join, they can be money makers for you too. So if you want to get started reviewing products or needed new leads, I hope these help you. All of us bloggers have to help each other to be as productive and successful as possible.

Live Infinitely Water Infusion Bottle

**** I received this bottle complimentary for my unbiased review. All opinions here are 100% my own****

Today I got to review a really fun and healthy item. Its called a water infusion bottle by Live Infinitely. Its a 24 ounce water bottle with a fruit infuser on the end to make your water taste better. I mean everyone knows that water is good for you. We are told to drink at least 8 glass of water a day for good health, but let's face facts. Even though it is the best drink for you, plain water is boring. This bottle gives you the option of infusing the taste of fresh fruit into your water. No more boring water drinking. The choices of flavors are infinite really. I used tangerines in my review but I can see myself infusing strawberries, cherries, plums, peaches, lemons, pineapple, watermelon or blue berries in there as well. Im sure almost any fruit would work well with the water except maybe bananas. I mean you can try it but honestly is banana water appealing? Not to me it isn't.
When you order the Water Infusion Bottle,  you get the waterbottle, the infuser and a nice nylon bag to travel with it. You can use it as a tote bag or as a backpack to keep your hands free. All you do to infuse your water is choose your fruit or fruits, cut them into small pieces and place them into the infuser. Place the cap onto the infuser and then screw the blue lid onto the bottom of the water bottle. Then unscrew the top of the bottle and fill with your water. Reseal with the other blue lid and wait a while. Its good to tip the bottle up and down so that the fruit mixes with the bottled water. You can actually see pulp and fiber from the fruit mixing with the water in the bottle along with the fruit juice. The longer you wait to drink your water, the more it infuses with the fruit and the more flavor it develops.

When you are ready, just open the top of the bottle and enjoy your fruity healthy delicious water.
I'm thinking since both my daughters have given up soda, this would be a great gift for their birthdays this year. They will both love these bottles as much as I do.

Nutraplex Megaberry Bar

**** I received this product complimentary for my unbiased review. All opinions are strictly my own****

I got this Nutraplex Megaberry Bar in my mail yesterday from the seller. Unfortunately I didn't take a photo of it before I ate it. Note to self...don't open the mail when you haven't had lunch and are hungry.
This is the empty package as the bar is by now surely digested and moving around in my body

I will say the bar tasted wonderful. It was very fruity and sweet and I ate it in  4 bites. It also kept me satisfied until dinner which was about 4 hours after I consumed the Megaberry Bar. I was pleasantly surprised by that fact because the bar itself is not very big. It may only be 1.83 ounces but they are good ounces that keep you full with only 190 calories in them. Nutraplex Megaberry Bar is Kosher, Vegetarian, Gluten Free and Non GMO so its a healthy bar you can feel good eating.

It contains  Dates, Chia Seeds, Cranberry, Cashews, PeaProtein, Honey Raisins, Safflower Oil, Blueberries, Strawberries, Strawberry Juice Concentrate, Raspberries, Acai Powder, Sunflower, Lecithin, Natural Flavors, Sea Salt, Mixed Tocopherols and Citric Acid. Because it contains cashews you should probably avoid it if you have allergies to nuts. It has 2300 mgs of Omega 3 Fatty Acids which are very good for you. Its low in fat and sodium and has 0 cholesterol. The one drawback I found is that it contains a lot of sugar.
There are 22 grams of sugar in this bar and that I have to admit puts me off of it as a bar I would consume all the time. If you are diabetic or are watching your sugar intake you may want to reconsider this bar.

I like the bar, its healthy but I don't like the amount of sugar. If it wasn't for that, I would fully endorse it and probably would buy more of them myself. I really like the food types in it and the omega 3 values and hope they can find a way to lower that sugar.

Easy Way to Make Cash and Gift Cards on the Net

Everyone needs a little extra cash right?

You know, for holiday shopping, birthdays, or just for YOU!
I found myself unemployed last year. I had owned a fairly sucessful business in the offset printing industry. People always need business cards, letterhead and envelopes so I thought I would always have the shop until I retired. I wouldn't ever have a need for cash.

WRONG!!!
Thanks to technology and the PDF, most companies have gone paperless now and because 85% of my business was paper generated, I found myself closing shop and joining the unemployed workforce. I was ok because my hubby without the paper as I call him, collects SSI and we have another person in the house that collects state disability so we have the bills paid but there is no extra $$ for things like my crafting supplies or basically anything not necessary.

I started looking on the internet because our roommate was doing internet surveys and getting paid. She wasn't making a vast amount of money but enough that she could get little things that she felt she wanted. I found this site called Points2Shop and I started doing their surveys. Before too long I had enough points to order my first item. It wasn't much, some dollar store candy but it had me established as a genuine person and it leveled me up.
Each level unlocks new earning potential.

You begin at New and right away earn 250 points for signing up. Each point is equal to a penny so you get $2.50 when you begin. Surveys depend but some pay 25 points and others can pay up to 300 points so you can make some money doing them. They have a rewards center where you cash your points in for items. They work with Amazon so anything Amazon carries, you can redeem points for. They ask you to redeem one item as quickly as possible to verify your address and move you up to the Bronze level. This opens more survey opportunities and offers from different vendors. The more points you earn and the more time you spend on the site the more you move up in levels.

You can also change your earnings from points to cash and redeem them that way. This is my preferred method of payment because I can either transfer money to Paypal, direct deposit into my bank or redeem for Amazon or Target credit on my account. Once you hit the GOLD level you can also get instant withdrawals. Before that they have to manually process your requests and it can take up to a week to get your money so you really want to get up to that gold level. Now when I want to withdrawal, its usually in my paypal or amazon account within 5 minutes and in my bank the next business day.

There is a little banner on the right side of this blog and it has my username on it, it tells you right there how much I have earned over the last 1 and a half years. Now to be honest, I don't sit on the site and do surveys all day so my earnings aren't as high as some people I know on that site but for a half an hour a day its pretty impressive. I have put money in the bank, I have Christmas shopped without spending a dime, and I earned enough to buy a cheap tablet that I use to facebook and watch Netflix on. It does work, its not a scam but if you want it to work you need to put some time into it.

Be HONEST when you fill out the demographics. I cannot stress this enough. If you are not honest, it will come back to haunt you and you will lose your account. Give your real address as they do not take post office boxes and they need to verify in order for you to move up. There is no spam involved, no one comes to your house and rings your doorbell. Its for sending your rewards only. When you take the surveys again be honest. They can tell when you are lying or trying to invent things and again, you can lose your account.

This is a great site. As you can see I have made over 400.00 on it. Not tons but enough to get a little something something for me from time to time. If you are curious, click on the banner on the side of the post, or I'll post the link down here and  you can go check it out. Give it a try. You really have nothing to lose and all the cash to gain.
